 January 29, 2025 – United Natural Trading LLC, Edison, NJ, is voluntarily recalling Fresh Direct Dark Chocolate Covered Pretzels due to the presence of an undeclared milk.  To date, FDA has tested 22 samples of Chocolate Bars, 10 Infused Cones, 22 Gummies, and one raw ingredient that was reportedly used in the manufacturing of some.  The FDA issued a recall for several chocolate products due to undeclared ingredients, recently elevating three of these items to Class 1 status for potential risks of adverse health.  Chocolate bars sold by a New York-based candy retailer recalled earlier this summer have now been given a risk classification by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration.  — A December 2024 chocolate recall has been upgraded to highest risk level by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA), which says consuming the product could “cause.

 To date, FDA has tested 22 samples of Chocolate Bars, 10 Infused Cones, 22 Gummies, and one raw ingredient that was reportedly used in the manufacturing of some.  Several chocolate and confectionary items produced by Wisconsin-based Clasen Quality Chocolate Inc. (CQC) have been classified at the Class II risk level by the U.S. Food.
