 The U.S. Army has identified the female soldier in the doomed Black Hawk helicopter which crashed into an American Airlines flight this week, killing more than 60 people.  The Army has identified the third soldier who was aboard the Black Hawk helicopter involved in the DC mid-air collision on Wednesday.  Black hawk helicopter pilot identified - The Army has now named the third soldier killed in the Army crash: Cpt. Lobach of Durham, North Carolina, as the third soldier killed in Wednesday night’s tragic military aviation accident in Washington,.  The Army released the identify of the third crew member aboard the Black Hawk helicopter involved in the deadly airport crash near DCA as Capt. Rebecca Lobach, an aviation officer and past ROTC cadet.  In a statement, the U.S. Army said: "Cpt. Rebecca M. Lobach, of Durham, North Carolina, served as an aviation officer (15A) in the regular Army from July 2019 to January 2025.

 Capt. Rebecca M. Lobach served as an aviation officer since January 2019, according to the Army. “We are devastated by the loss of our beloved Rebecca. She was a bright star in all our lives.  The Army released the identify of the third crew member aboard the Black Hawk helicopter involved in the deadly airport crash near DCA as Capt.
