PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4 console users are now able to play online games again following a massive outage on Sony’s gaming network that started on Monday night. When PlayStation servers be back up. Sony is aware of the issue and is currently working to fix it. According to a post on X, the Japanese tech giant is still unsure of the exact cause of the problem. This could be a major issue, as the PSN outage has already lasted for more than four hours. PSN is currently back up and running as of 2 am EST and 11 am BST. The players reporting problems seemed to have stopped and Sony has confirmed the outage is over. We’ll update this... Strangely, the official PSN Service Status page says that there are no issues at the time of writing. Clearly that's not the case, so we'll need to wait and see whether that page gets updated.
